My beloved Kingsley
KC, as we fondly called him, it’s hard to find the right words to capture the loss I feel. Trying to express the reality that you’re no longer here feels almost impossible. Kingsley, your sudden departure—without even a chance to say goodbye—still feels like a dream I can’t wake up from. I always thought we had a lifetime together ahead, but looking back, I see you poured your entire life into us.
You were the heartbeat of our home. As a dad and husband, you were hands-on in the truest sense. Whether it was tending to the garden or making our home come alive with your famous “Fat Friday” dinners, you were always at the center of it all. I can still smell your burgers on the grill, the laughter filling the air—it’s those small moments that now hold so much weight.
As a dad, you were one of a kind. You didn’t just care for our kids—you were there for them in every way. Nina and Rayna adore you, and Jovan look up to you as his hero. You led with love, respect, and involvement in everything you did, and your wisdom will stay with them forever. You protected us, led us, and made sure we always felt safe and loved.
You had this rare ability to spread joy wherever you went, and your heart was big enough for everyone. You loved deeply and gave so much of yourself to us and those around you. Kingsley, your absence is a void we can’t fill, but the love you gave us will stay with us always. I just hope you know how deeply we miss you, and how much your love shaped us all.

Kingsley was passionate about health and safety. The first thing he does everywhere we go including on holidays, is to look out for the fire exit and window locks. his commitment to work extended to heartfelt relationships with colleagues, turning them into an extended family.
In Kingsley’s company, laughter and insightful conversations were constants. His wealth of knowledge earned him the title of a “walking encyclopedia” from me. A man who not only looked and smelled good but also enriched the lives of those around him with joy and wisdom.

Kingsley’s love for looking good went beyond fashion—it was a reflection of his vibrant spirit. From his well-chosen outfits to the allure of his favorite perfumes, he crafted an image of timeless elegance.
We joked about about how he was aging backward. It leaves us with the bittersweet mystery of what his older self might have looked like.

Each day, my heart aches for the unfulfilled plans he had and the void he left in our lives.
The memories of his smiles, his playful spirit, and the beautiful love you showered upon us and everyone he comes in contact with lingers in our hearts.

Kingsley gave every part of himself with so much joy, and it brings me some comfort knowing that his love stayed strong until his last day with us. I will keep loving you until the day we meet again. Rest peacefully in God’s arms, my dear husband.
We love you forever ❤️🕊️
