I Chose to Rise Through My Grief

In the face of tragedy, I found the strength to rebuild and create a new chapter in my life.

About

At 40, I found myself on an unexpected journey—a widow with three young children, navigating the turbulent waters of grief and loss. In the midst of heartache, I realized that the only way forward was through, and I chose to turn my pain into purpose.

I began writing about my grief journey as a way to make sense of my new reality, hoping my words could offer comfort to others who felt lost in their own struggles. Through my blog, I share the raw, unfiltered truth of living with loss while trying to stay strong for my children and myself. I write about the daily battles, the small victories, and the lessons I’m learning along the way.

But grief is not my whole story. In the darkest moments, I found a source of strength in a lost passion: movement. Fitness and most especially walking became my therapy, a way to heal my mind and body. As I reclaimed my health, I discovered a passion for helping others do the same. That’s why I’m creating guides and e-books on grief, healing, and the role that physical well-being plays in emotional recovery.

My vision is to build a community of support, where we can talk openly about the realities of loss and resilience, where fitness is not just about aesthetics but about finding strength when everything feels like it’s falling apart. I want to inspire others to heal not only through words but also through movement and self-care.

I’m also working on launching my own fitness outfit and accessories brand—because I believe that feeling good in your skin can start with what you wear. I want to create clothing that empowers women to move, to feel strong, and to embrace their journey, whatever it looks like.

This is my new beginning. A story of loss, love, healing, and the strength to rise again. My blog, my fitness journey, and my brand are all part of that story. I invite you to join me, to find strength in community, and to discover your own path to healing, one step at a time.
